The 4th Wednesday of the month is careening toward us - - on 6/22 at 5:30pm, the team room is reserved for the group at the Fowl Line in Castle Rock for the usual fellowship, merriment and munchies!
You can also see "The Road to Livingston" at the Sheridan Library (4325 W. Oxford) starting at 6 p.m., with a panel discussion on the death penalty afterward. "The Road to Livingston" chronicles the weekly journey of Delia Perez Meyer to see her brother on death row in Texas - - Louis Castro Perez is innocent and awaiting the results of efforts to clear his name of a triple homicide. Delia is not only a stalwart support to her brother, but she has turned into a powerful advocate for him and for the abolition of the death penalty in one of our nation's most killing states.
If you'd like to join us for "The Road to Livingston", we'd love to see you - - otherwise, Drinking Liberally Castle Rock is going to go ahead as regularly scheduled!
