The Douglas County Democrats have not and will not officially endorse any candidates in the 2015 School Board race. Our members have rights as Americans to support any candidate they choose. The Democratic Party as a whole does not endorse school board candidates.  The following information is being provided in order for our members to make an informed decision about which candidates are fighting to protect public education.

Information about the 2015 Coordinated Election

This is an at-large election; every person gets to vote for 3 candidates. The 2015 Election will be an All Mail Election Ballot. Voters needing assistance can visit a Voter Service and Polling Center listed below.  Voted ballots may be returned by mail or dropped off at one of the designated Ballot Drop-Off Locations in Douglas County.

All ballots will be mailed to voters by mail October 12-16th. If you do not receive your ballot by October 23rd, please contact Douglas County Elections.  Ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Postmarks do not count.

Voter service and polling centers offer a number of services for the voters of Douglas County including but not limited to:
• Registering to vote
• Update voter registration
• Issuing a new ballot if your old one got damaged
• Vote in person
