Stay Calm, Resist and Drink Lliberally
Wow! What a turn out last time. Thank you to all of you who came out to Drinking Liberally – over 25 people! I certainly hope to see more of you at Drinking Liberally this Thursday Feb 23 at 6pm at Carlos Miguel's.
Several of you also expressed interest in finding out more about how and where you could join folks and become more active in these precipitous times. I'm hoping to be able to provide you with more information on local groups organizing against Trump and his cronies. Usually the best way to find out is to come to Drinking Liberally and meet others with the same interest (and have a good time in the meantime.)
So come and join the conversation, find out more of what's going on locally, and share the camaraderie. And if you want, enjoy a drink and some food. And remember to Bring A Friend!

We are having our regular Drinking Liberally this Thursday, December 8, at 6pm
I hope that all of you who made it to the Holiday Xmas etc. Party this past Saturday had a great time. Thanks to all of you who brought marvelous food, dishes, desserts! I was thrilled to have so many excellent people attend.
This Thursday we'll have Drinking Liberally back at Carlos Miguel's. This is effectively our 10th Anniversary as Drinking Liberally Denver South Metro. Thanks to all those who came to one or many of the meetings over these many years.
We normally don't have a second DL in December because it falls on one of the holidays. However, I'm open to scheduling one on the 22nd if there's interest out there. Just let me know.
Have a fantastic holiday regardless of which one(s) you celebrate. And if you're coming Thursday, remember to Bring A Friend!
10th year Anniversary of Reading Liberally
Our December 14th Holiday Dinner will be at Lansdowne Arms stands, starting at 6:30 on Wed., Dec. 14th. As always, feel free to bring a gently used, wrapped book for our Blue Elephant gift exchange!
The book for January 11th will be "The Lost Wife," by Alyson Richman. If any of you have read "Suite Francais," I think that you'll like this one. The room will be "The Children's Corner," a spacious room still on the ground floor of the Lone Tree Library.
The book for February 8th will be "Hillbilly Elegy," by J.D. Vance. Put your library/inter-library loan request in Now for this very popular book. The Douglas County Libraries room reservation system was "upgraded" and we didn't get a room, so you'll have to meet at Koelbel Library.
