County Clerk Offers Learning Academy
"The Clerk and Recorder Division would like to thank the community members who took an active role in their government and attended the Learning Academy on Feb 12 at the Elections Office in Douglas County. Those that responded with interest in attending the event overwhelmingly chose the initial date, eliminating the need for a second event.
For the February 12 event, attendance was strong. “The conversation was engaging and educational,” said the event’s host, Jack Arrowsmith, Douglas County Clerk and Recorder. Several community leaders as well as interested citizens were present." - The Douglas County Clerk & Recorders Office

Drinking Liberally this Thursday
New Location! Drinking Liberally now at 3 Margaritas near C-470 and Broadway
Join us this Thursday September 28th at 6pm at DRINKING LIBERALLY at 3 Margaritas Restaurant on County Line again!
The 3 Margaritas was a great experience last time. We had an entire room to ourselves, so plenty of room for pretty much all of you!
The food is pretty good (better than Carlos Miguels IMO) and the margaritas (according to those you had some) were great (and strong). The people there are really friendly, the service was great, and it's right off C-470. Perhaps this can become the DL Denver South Metro's new home. Please come and let me know if the location works for you! If you want to know more beforehand, check out their web site: http://3margaritaslittleton.
Also, stay tuned for more info the Annual Drinking Liberally Holiday Party in early December.
The 3 Margaritas Restaurant is at 501 E County Line Rd in Littleton, just east from Broadway, right off of C-470. Just turn in off of County Line onto E Phillips Ave and take a right into the Shopping area parking lot. I hope to see you there on Thursday. And Remember to Bring A Friend! Cheers, – Rick

Decompress at Drinking Liberally July 13th
We can be proud of much of our country, including the growing number who are resisting and fighting against the disturbing behavior of one who has no respect for his office, our country, and democracy.
So we must continue to push back and resist. Between all your action and activism, do take a few minutes to decompress a bit this upcoming Thursday July 13th at 6pm at DRINKING LIBERALLY at Carlos Miguel's in Highlands Ranch. Last meeting we once again had a fantastic turnout, with plenty of great conversation.
Updated Announcement: We will also be having our first ever Summer Party coming up in a month in Roxborough Park. Tentatively it's planned for August 5th. Stay tuned for updates.
Of course, I hope you can make it to Drinking Liberally on the 13th. And Remember to Bring A Friend! Cheers
